Chinese Wellbeing is a home care provider that has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We offer outstanding cultural and person-centered home care services to people across Merseyside, including those from Chinese communities.
We will conduct a home assessment and discuss your bespoke needs and together we will design a care package which will support you in various aspects of everyday life, including but not limited to; Personal Care, Prompting to take medication, Welfare checks, Housekeeping, Physical Assistance, Support to access and connect to the local community ( please see Chinese Wellbeing Evergreen Green Club and Dementia Support Services), Support for unpaid carers (Carer Voucher Scheme). Our services are delivered by experienced bilingual home care assistants who will work with you to ensure you receive the highest possible standard of care.

We will make every effort to ensure that your language and cultural needs are met by matching you with a Homecare Assistant who speaks your preferred language or dialect as follows:
We currently deliver care packages which are publicly funded through local authorities in addition to self funders. You may be eligible to receive help with funding your care from the Government. You have the right to request a free care assessment from your local social services department.
If you have been assessed as requiring care services you may be offered direct payments. These are payments made directly to you from your local council so you are able to pay for the care service of your choice. If you are eligible for support with funding, your local council is duty bound to consider direct payments as an option for you. This leaves you free to purchase the services you prefer. If you wish to, you can purchase services above the value of the direct payment by adding your own funds.
Direct payments can mean greater flexibility as you can purchase services in addition to those your care assessment states. For further information, contact your local Social Services or see The Department of Health Guide to Direct Payments.
