Tea House Reminiscence®- Early Stage Dementia Support Talk by Emma 27/3/2023
Tea House is a place for everyone to connect with old and new friends share memories and relax in a safe and culturally specific environment. We have recently been awarded an NHS Health & Wellbeing grant, which has enabled us to reinstate the monthly Tea House Reminiscence schedule which started last September.
The concept of the Tea House builds upon the previous work of our Dementia Champion in raising awareness of dementia and providing advice and information with regard to support services. We are pleased to welcome Emma Stafford from NHS Merseycare who leads the Dementia Care Navigator Team to come to meet our TH members. Following last year’s talk by Emma about the support provided by the Dementia Care Navigator team for anyone recently diagnosed with dementia and their family carers, this is Emma’s second talk at Tea House and is to help to inform people of what happens if someone is referred to the Memory Assessment Clinic by their GP if suspected of having early stage dementia.
Please contact Angel/Maggie for reservations due to limited vacancies.
Date: Last Monday of every month, 27/3/2023
Time: 10:00am-12:30pm
